Joe Lamphere

Founder/CEO

My foundation for weapons and tactics was created in the 5 years I spent in the United States Marine Corps. When I got out, in 2003, I was fortunate to quickly find work as a firearms instructor. After spending just over a year in that job I felt I had a serious grasp on what we were teaching, and how it should have been taught. I walked into my boss’s office and explained a better way to teach cover and concealment. He agreed with my new tactic, but did not allow me to implement the changes. He then told me if I didn’t like the way we did things I should start my own business. The rest is history.

Ray Parker

Business Development Manager

I started my Marine Corps. career in 1989 as an Amphibious Tractor Crewman and finished in 2001 as a CH-46 helicopter mechanic. During my time with the helo squadron, I also spent considerable time at the range located at NAS Dam Neck, working as a rifle/pistol coach. The experience I obtained from the range, while in the military, allowed me to transition to a civilian position teaching US Navy Master-at-Arms trainees. After leaving there, I began a 14 year stint in the tactical gear industry, where I did everything from sales to ownership of a gear shop. I quickly realized that sales is where I belong. Having a military and shooting/coaching background allows me to completely understand the service we provide and the importance of it to our customers.

Rich Castagna

Firearms Instructor

As soon as I graduated high school I enlisted in the Marine Corps. During my 4 years I spent time with a grunt unit and finished with Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC). My career was cut short to injuries I sustained while deployed. Years later I was attending a pistol course being taught by PWTactics. The training was some of the most practical and user friendly training I have ever attended. A short while after I attended the course I received a phone call asking me if I wanted to be a part of the PWT team. The rest is history.
